Calgary Pizzas
One of the best placed that we found for a meal in Calgary was Flavor Me Pizza. It is quite small and mainly a takeaway place, although it does have a few chairs and stools if you want to eat in. You can buy pizza slices over the counter, or wait for your own concoction to be cooked up. Very cheap and located along 8th Street.

We Went to the Calgary Science Center - and it was great!
The Calgary Science is a great place to while away a few hours and is located on 701 11th Street. There are lots of fun displays about things relating to science and the universie, and there is also a planetarium with sky shows and movies. We had fun there as a family.

Shopping with Fountains
We went shopping at the Calgary TD Square Shopping Mall. We were amazed when we reached the fourth floor and found botanical gardens (Devonian Gardens). These gardens were like a little oasis, although not so little, since they covered more than two acres and there were even some fish, butterflies, waterfalls and fountains. It's worth going here, even if you're not really in the mood for shopping.

Green Olive Restaurant
This was on 68th Street ahnd although this place is far from being 'fancy', it was just really nice. The food was excellent and exactly what we were after.

Huge Skatepark
We went to the Shaw Millennium Park, next to Calgary Science Center, where there were loads of sports things and hundreds of skaters. Apparently, this is a largest free skate park in the whole world. You can also play volleyball and basketball here.
